Welcome in the New Year with a champagne & canapé reception and live entertainment from the 'Dean Solomon Band' featuring an extensive repertoire of songs, spanning music of the 50's and 60's right through to the present day.

Steeped in history the morritt truly is, a 'home away from home' with real log fires, oak panelling and parquet flooring. Add to these perfect ingredients the even warmer welcome, the magnificent ballroom and a location second to none! - Nestling in the picturesque hamlet of Greta Bridge.

Booking terms & conditions

  • A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of £40.00 per person is required within 7 days of making the reservation. Payments can be made by cash, cheque (only one cheque per party) or credit/debit card (with the exception of American Express & Diner). The balance of payment is due by 15 November 2008.
  • Once the payment balance has been received and numbers have been confirmed, they will be considered final. All monies received are non-refundable/non-transferable, should any member/s of the party cancel; their payment will be forfeited. Any monies received via cancellation may not be set against drinks or services for the remaining party members.
  • We reserve the right to automatically release any reservation where payment has not been received by the due date/s.
  • The New Years Eve Gala Ball is strictly a 'Black-Tie' dress code. The evening commences at 7pm with a champagne & canapé reception, followed by dinner being served at 7.30 pm.
  • Should you require a vegetarian option, please do ask for the alternative vegetarian menu when making your reservation. The vegetarian menu will only be served if pre booked and confirmed when booking.
  • Special dietary requirements can be catered for; please do enquire at the time of booking.
  • Children - The New Year Programme is not considered suitable for persons less than 16 years.
  • We reserve the right to amend any/all of the package content, without prior notice, which may result from circumstances beyond our control.
  • The New Years Eve Gala Ball is hosted in the Ballroom and adjacent function suites. Due to the various sizes and numbers of parties and seating arrangements, we are unable to guarantee the location of your table.
  • Please be advised that the entertainment plays until 1 am, at this time the bar also closes to all non- residents.
  • It is advisable to pre-order you wine selection and any champagne, which you may require for welcoming in the New Year at midnight. A list of our wine selection will be available on our web page from the 1 November 2008. Should you wish to place an order, simply download the wine selector and complete enclosing payment, returning to the hotel by 15 November 2008.
  • A service charge has not been included in our tariff as we feel it should be left to the discretion of our guests.
