Restaurant - Traditional venue, contemporary menu

Traditionally a venue for fine dining, the restaurant has been re-branded and brought bang up to date with vibrant colours, a touch of black leather, comfortable armchairs, new lighting, silk blinds over window seats and fun artwork. Diners will still see the familiar quality hallmarks of the oak paneling and wood black floor, but with a contemporary new twist. We have created a more relaxed, comfortable restaurant where people come more often, not just for that special occasion. There's also a contemporary new menu from our talented brigade of chefs, featuring the very best in local and continental produce.

Prices are very competitive - we have adopted a straight forward approach with single digit prices throughout - and diners who select from the a la carte menu can chose to eat anywhere in the hotel, including the bistro, bar or even outside enjoying the beautiful countryside surroundings. As well as the restaurant, diners can eat in the Bistro surrounded by pictures from local artists, enjoy real ale and freshly prepared bar snacks in The Dickens Bar or relax in one of the many lounges with a traditional afternoon tea or morning coffee. Bar meal specials are also available during the day.
