Wear It Pink!
The Morritt Hotel will be in the pink to raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign next month.
Anyone booking for the Pink Pamper event at The Morritt Hotel and adjacent Garage Spa on Friday 25 October is asked to wear something pink to mark ‘Wear it Pink’ Day.
The whole of the £20 ticket price will go to the campaign and participants will be treated to a glass of pink bubbly, canapés and ‘mini-treatments’ - such as express facials, hand, foot or neck and shoulder massage, mini pedicure or manicure and dry float.
There will also be a free make-up demonstration, use of the spa facilities, such as the sauna and hot tub, and 10 percent off any spa bookings or spa products bought on the night.
Hotel and spa owner, Barbara Johnson said: ‘Everyone knows someone who has been stricken by breast cancer, and this is a fun way to raise money for a fantastic cause.
‘And it won’t be just the guests who’ll be asked to wear something pink – the staff will be doing the same. Everyone will be in the pink and the proceeds from every ticket will go to the Breast Cancer Campaign.’
Breast Cancer Awareness runs throughout October and Wear it Pink Day on 25 October is one of its flagship fundraising events. One in eight women in the UK will be diagnosed during their life time and the money donated to the campaign goes towards much needed research
The Morritt Pink Pamper event will take place between 5.30pm and 8.30pm and booking is essential. Call Reception on 01833 627232 to purchase your ticket.
